Reframing Autism’s autistic-led community summit explored the themes of Identity, Sensory Experiences, Wellbeing, Autistic Elders and Meaningful Work across five days. The summit offered a unique blend of keynote presentations, moderated panel discussions, facilitated community peer groups, and an online discussion forum.
Ashton was the MC and Panel Facilitator during the Meaningful Work Day, and the Facilitator for the ‘Recently Identified Autistic’ Peer Discussion Group for three days.

Reframing Autism’s symposium reflected on the unique gifts and strengths that Autistic people bring to their relationships with others, as well as the ways that non-autistic people can connect with Autistic people that acknowledge and are respectful of Autistic neurology.
